2026 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction Finalist

We are thrilled to have been selected as a 2026 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction finalist by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce! The Mentorship Award of Distinction recognizes a business/organization that exemplifies professionalism and dedication to learning, and endorses a distinct strategy or program that promotes mentorship.

At Strike Group, mentorship is part of how we build our teams, strengthen our culture, and develop future leaders. We believe investing in people creates long-term success for both individuals and our organization.

Through our structured Management Trainee Program, we provide mentorship, hands-on experience, and leadership development opportunities designed to support the next generation of leaders within our company. We also support apprentices and individuals new to the industry through our Green Hand Program, helping reinforce safe work practices, build confidence, and create strong foundations early in their careers.

The winners will be announced at an awards gala celebration on September 23 in Leduc, and we look forward to celebrating alongside fellow finalists who are making a difference in their industries and communities.

The Alberta Business Awards of Distinction are held annually to recognize businesses and organizations demonstrating outstanding achievements and contributions in their communities. To date, more than 404 companies have been named Alberta Business Award of Distinction recipients. There are currently 12 diverse award categories, with an additional Alberta’s Best of Business Award.

Being named a finalist reflects the dedication of our teams and mentors across Strike who continue investing their time, experience, and knowledge into helping others succeed.
