Christy Giberson Named One of Canada’s Top Women in Safety by Canadian Occupational Safety
Strike Group is proud to announce that Christy Giberson (Analyst, HSE/ESG & Instructional Designer) has been named one of Canada’s Top Women in Safety in 2026 by Canadian Occupational Safety.

For more than 15 years, Christy Giberson has been a cornerstone of Strike Group’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team. Through her leadership, dedication, and forward-thinking approach, she has played a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening Strike’s Safety Management System into the industry-leading program it is today.
Christy has been instrumental in the development of several key safety initiatives at Strike. Her contributions include helping establish our Hazard Identification, Assessment, and Control (HIAC) process, launching the Safety Observation Card (SOC) Charity Tracking Program, developing impactful online safety training, and modernizing our Safety Manual. Each of these initiatives has helped reinforce a strong and proactive safety culture across every level of the organization.
She also played a key role in launching Strike’s Digital HSE Resource Library and continues to contribute her expertise through active involvement on both Strike’s HSE Committee and Sustainability Committee.
In addition to being named one of Canada’s Top Women in Safety, Christy was also recognized as a 2026 finalist for the Site Service Awards in the Health & Safety category, further highlighting the impact of her leadership within the industry.
These recognitions reinforce what we already know at Strike. Christy is an innovative leader and a driving force behind our culture of safety. Countless workers across our industry are safer today because of her work.
